I've not got round to this yet, do I "need" to? I did like the last album rather a lot.

It’s not nearly as good as Short N Sweet but I have grown to like some of it. Goodbye, House Tour and Go Go Juice are my highlights.

I mean Tears has the lyric 'Tears run down my thighs', so I don't think they're steering away from risqué!
 
Bonus track “Such a Funny Way” is now available on streaming.

Now release “House Party” as a single- not sure anything else is worth pushing at this point. “When Did You Get Hot” appears to be getting adds on radio in the States but I’m not into it

 
She was having a decent enough career in the US before Espresso set her off globally. She can settle back into something at a smaller scale quite easily, I'd have thought. Plus, she's clever - I think she'll know not to flog the dead horse.

I'm genuinely baffled how they let this song slip, it's one of the album's highlights, but it's so similar to stuff from Doja Cat's latest album, and look at how that did :( It did have a mini moment on social media, though, and it had a slot on her setlist so there's that.
 
House Tour has vastly more streams than even Jealous Type! it was an easy smash and they let it get away. I agree there's an element of not wanting her overexposed which probably means more new music this year.

she won't settle back into her C-list pop girl groove though. like Dua she has the fame, the fanbase and the touring reputation to be huge even without a huge single.
 
Oh she’s totally A List now. The 3 punch of Espresso/Please/Taste cemented that, they were huge on another level commercially that I’d struggle to think of another pop girl who has had three of that size in a row in years?
 
A few other tracks I like on it but they are a relative disappointment if you’re looking for more of this.
 
House Tour would have made a great opening track on Martika's Kitchen (1991), but I'm less obsessed today than yesterday. I skipped it twice, but maybe that's the issue with tracks that are so pastichey.
 
Didn’t expect “Manchild” to still be so high 10 months on. Less said about the follow ups the better, although WDYGH is inexplicably #6 at pop radio atm. Unclear if they will be pushing House Tour beyond the video.
 
I'm sure it was a great show but I feel this was a disappointing staging for House Tour
