There really is no right or wrong thing to do - just whatever you feel is best. Hope it gives you some comfort.

Absolutely. I was 8 months pregnant when my Granny Star died. In our culture a pregnant woman is not supposed to see a dead body or go to the funeral so I didn't. But I have no regrets about that at all because I didn't want to do either anyway. I reckon Granny Star knew that.

I'm even tempted to fake some covid symptoms to avoid it. Does that make me a bad person? I just feel like I'll make a fool of myself otherwise getting upset :shy:

It doesn't make you a bad person. And you wouldn't be making a fool of yourself either.
But if you feel like the pressure is overwhelming just be kind to yourself and go for what makes you feel a little better.

I thought of you yesterday cause when I decided to go to bed at midnight, this is what my bedroom sounded like.

I feel your pain! Only good thing here is the law is 11pm max. So although ours continues after that, generally they turn it down. We just asked them to turn it down now as we need to keep Little Kylie's window open as it's so hot

Thank you. I'm actually off to camp just before they leave and I feel there's a good chance someone is going to have covid there for some reason! There's 30 of us in total, three of them have messaged this week to say they have it at the moment.

What are the implications? Will you have to give him meds etc?
He's going to the vets Monday for bloods but more than likely be will be on 2 x insulin injections a day. Which I dread doing because as lovely as he is to me, he's not an easy or tolerant cat to medicate or do anything with :(

If he won't tolerate it I'll have to consider putting him to sleep.
