Not exactly Bleeding Love, is it?

Obviously it's a cover, but at least they chose a relatively obscure one I suppose.

The album is full of equally overlooked gems it seems

1. 'The Power Of Love'
2. 'From This Moment On'
3. 'There You'll Be'
4. 'And I Am Telling You' (duet with Nicole Scherzinger)
5. 'Compass'
6. 'Lord Is It Mine'
7. 'Get Here'
8. 'Treasure'
9. 'Ain't No Mountain High Enough' (duet with Michael Bolton)
10. 'Superwoman'
11. 'Skyscraper'

Good grief.

Hmmm...It's just THERE. It's pretty much what I expected she would come out with though. This isn't a hit, who the hell would play this apart from Radio 2? Saga Radio?

I don't understand why people are so AGOG at the cover or anything to do with this project. It seems quite well-aimed at the market most likely to buy in.

God. I just listened to the Didrik Solli-Tangen version, he really is one of the worst 'classic tenors' to have ever give pop music a go, isn't he? That voice has just no depth and volume at all.

I wonder if "Superwoman" is the Karyn White song? A rather LAZY choice of covers really. I kinda feel sorry for her but there wasn't much else they could do with her.

An eight year old girl that I teach was telling me about how much of a Sam Bailey fan she was last week. Apparently she has a Sam Bailey bedcover, a Sam Bailey towel, Sam Bailey posters and a Sam Bailey BIN.

?

Oh dear God it's just NOT RIGHT

BUT :D anyway. Especially at the BIN

Sam Bailey's CD* in a Sam Bailey bin is a photo opportunity too good to miss, surely.

*(the new rubbish one, not Mr Dancehall)

Now if she'd done Secret REN-DEZ-VOUS that would have been quite something else.

People keep saying that, but how many copies did the 'perfect for his demographic' Jahmene Douglas album sell? Around 50,000 - if that? It's a tidy profit for a cheap, dashed off, every expense spared covers album, no doubt. But supermarket mums are a massive demographic - see Buble, Rod Stewart, Gary Barlow etc. The utter lack of ambition is worthy of comment I'd say.

Sam's a lot more popular than Jahmene. I think she'll sell a lot more.

PREGNANT

Sam Bailey has announced that she is expecting her third child.

The X Factor winner revealed that she found out she was pregnant after taking a test in a supermarket toilet.

"I went and did it in the toilet while [husband Craig] was getting all the food," the 36-year-old told The Sun.

"Obviously I'm getting a bit bigger. I didn't want people to think I'd just got fat. That would make me feel insecure again."

The singer - who performed alongside fellow X Factor stars last night (March 5) for the Sheffield leg of their tour - said she is over the moon, but was initially worried she had angered her management.

"When I got into the car I was really upset because I thought I'd let everyone at my management and the record label down," she explained.

"But they were really good about it. I was going to go on tour solo at the end of October - but I have managed to move it until January."

The mother of two - 8-year-old Brooke and 5-year-old Tommy - also shared her first scan photo with fans on Twitter.

The 'Skyscraper' performer added that her X Factor mentor Sharon Osbourne has been giving her advice on managing motherhood in the public eye.

"I'm close to Sharon. We speak quite a lot," Bailey continued. "She's my confidante and has known about the pregnancy. She's been great."

Did she actually leave the employment of HMP to do the show, as she might be entitled to maternity pay if she didn't.

I'll email the Tax Payers Alliance to get them on the case.

She really doesn't care does she?
I think that's what endeared her to people, beyond being a good singer. She really is just a normal person who doesn't look like she'll be sucked up into the industry machine.

Sam's literally singing Shania Twain live on BBC1 now.

She's not had her teeth done yet.

In terms of marketing, she'd be MAD to get her teeth done! It's the only distinctive thing about her! :D

Genius!

She has at least secured her deal until after her celeb appearance on one born every minute. :disco:

She was performing in London last night. Phenomenal voice, but her set could have used work. Felt like she lost people as it went along. I’m sure her 2016 tropical house mix of How Will I Know goes down a storm at Gala Bingo but it didn’t quite cute it with the Two Brewers crowd.

HerSereneHighness said she’d have done well to stick around and watch some of the drag queen sets.

Was she even dressed as a giant stick of rock though?

Did she tell the same lie that she hadn't sung skyscraper in 4 years :eyes:
