So they can’t afford to take part in the main event for four years but can afford to host Junior Eurovision? :D
 
Boy George has finally acknowledged this on his instagram story. “If you blink you will miss me. Almost a silent contribution for me” :D
 
Whilst I do not agree with what Senhit is doing, I will defend to the death her right to do it.

I can imagine he was totally happy to do a cameo for the right fee, I just wonder if she omitted to say "Oh, and by the way I'm submitting this song for Eurovision..."

If he'd known, and was committed to the project, then surely he would have done a proper video of him singing the words rather than that AI shit we saw on the back screen.

I really can't see him wanting go to Vienna to appear for 15 seconds as a backing singer

His credit has been DROPPED which I believe, from our extensive research during Adrenalina, means he can be included as a recorded voice and not have to appear in person

So we're absolutely getting a giant question mark head piece again this year and a will he won't he plot :disco:

I don't think that's the case, but it does mean they can have some other random singer (or Senhit herself) can sing the part. It does give them flexibility. I think this just brings it in line now with how the official version of Adrenalina was released / credited. There's still a "featuring Boy George" version on streaming.

The only difference is that it came through the absolute wild west that is the San Marino national final where they can clearly say and do whatever the hell they want.
 
For what it's worth, Boy George did sign an open letter in 2024 saying Israel should be allowed to take part in Eurovision.
 
The more I think about this, the more I think about the semi-final, Boy George, the green room and THAT reaction to the qualifiers...

They’re performing this together for the first time at the London Eurovision Party on Sunday.
 
Is he actually going to be at Eurovision?! I can’t wait for the inevitable crash and burn in the semis.
