Saturday celebrates Snart Pride

The 2008 earthquake wouldn’t have wanted any of this guys :(

:o Does anyone remember that earthquake in the UK around 2008, I didn't know what was happening x

I don't remember the 2008 one but I do remember one in 1990. I was asleep in my mum's front room because I was on nights and all of the glasses and ornaments in her cabinet started rattling and woke me up. I assumed it was a big lorry going past then realised it wasn't because everything was "trembling" and the street was empty. So weird feeling the vibrations through my body.

There's a new Fall boxset coming out! :D:D:D

It's a complete rip off and they're telling porkies about the contents. :(:evil:

I will not be gazing lovingly at this effort.

Who was at that Bristol meet years ago when we went to the zoo? It closes today. Undoubtedly the right decision, but it does feel very sad and another part of childhood gone.

@Star will remember who was there. And when it was.

I’ve just been to get a meal deal and they’re already selling Christmas chocolates

Yes, they were getting the Christmas stuff ready in Home Bargains when I was there on Thursday.

Too early for the Christmas banner though, right?

I saw a hint of Christmas the other day. It doesn't bother me in the slightest (touch).

We're quite lucky - my nephew was born on 30th November so Christmas can't start until after that i.e. 1st December. This system suits me.

It’s only relocating. I really dislike zoos but I do recognise some of the work they do is good. But overall they’re pretty awful.

I know it's relocating. But out of the city where it will have a lot more space and the it becomes far less of a gawping at animals in tiny enclosures type place. But the iconic to generations of locals building is closing.

Just in case she doesn’t go into the Abba Voyage thread, here’s a snapshot of me and my Ma today on our way to Abba Voyage for OUR REET @Rita

Did she enjoy it? Hope the travelling was OK!
It was super smooth, thank you. And she loved it and was really into it- full report with spoilers in the Abba thread, unless people are avoiding it.

Weirdly I’ve been up and about for 2 hours already, I’m currently HURTLING west on the Shinkansen to Hiroshima.

Hoping the typhoon lurking in the South China Sea is not going to fuck up this weekend too much
