What are your three sauces? Ketchup, brown and tartare? I considered ketchup but I only ever have it on burgers or hotdogs and I didn't think it'd go with fish fingers for me. I don't like brown sauce so it was either salad cream or tartare sauce.

I baked five fish fingers (4 for me and 1 for the dog), lightly buttered my roll then spread a dollop of tartare sauce on, salt and vinegar'd my fish fingers while they were still on the baking tray then put them on the roll and put another dollop of tartare sauce on top of them, cut the roll in half then inhaled it and wished I'd made two. After I'd eaten it I ate half of the dog's fish finger too before dropping his half in his dish.

Ketchup, mayo and either brown or thousand Island. Tartare obviously works wonders too but can you even buy that in jars?

I've got well into brown sauce lately after spending 31 years of my life avoiding it.
 
Of course you can buy tartare in jars. How ELSE would you?
 
Fish finger sandwiches should have mayo on one side and on the other tomato in one/ brown on the other.

That sounds like them. The inside is harder, the outside almost flaky like a biscuit/pastry hybrid.
 
Tartae is only good for battered/breaded fish though wouldn't you say? And I hardly ever cook that.

A good fish finger sandwich is absolutely primo though.

£1 for a little square jar of Colmans from Tesco. Right next to the seafood sauce, mint sauce and stuff. Normally I buy jars of the homemade stuff from Olympus chippy (posh chippy in town) because it is amazing sauce but as they've been closed for months I've had to resort to Colmans. It's an acceptable substitute.
 
I love mixing a bit of horseradish with mayo as a dip.

Other than that, I only really have it with beef.
 
I love it but since I’ve been a vegetarian, NO BEEF FOR ME, so I need to make alternative arrangements.

I’ve been on a fruitless quest for A3 frames all day. I’m now frameless, hungry and PISSED OFF.
 
Bloody stupid Tesco are making me break my isolation because they didn't deliver my fags so I'm going to have to go to the corner shop and buy some. They've had my order since Tuesday so they knew I wanted them delivering on Saturday. Makes me wonder whether it's a conspiracy to try and get me to stop smoking.

Fumming right now. :angry:
