Afternoon! I'm currently in a pub listening to some old bitch claiming we can't afford to cut grass verges because we're giving council houses and mobile phones to 'boat people'.

She said earlier universities disgust her and she wouldn't let her kids anywhere near them (they make young people high minded and unwilling to take shit jobs, apparently), which kind of explains why she's such a thick cunt.

And we wonder why Farage is doing so well in the polls.

We have quite a diverse community on our estate so there aren't many flags around, my next-door-but-one neighbour has had a St George cross up for many years so I don't count that one, but midweek I noticed a Welsh flag attached to the telegraph pole on the corner.

Afternoon girls!

Just had a fabulous late season allotment haul of potatoes, peppers, chillis, apples, pears, courgettes and tomatoes. Now have to work out what to do with it all.

We've got a huge pear tree down the road which nobody ever seems to bother with. The fruit is always rock hard though. I'm assuming they would be fine if poached. Perhaps I ought to just do some in water, see if that works and then do it properly if it does.

Back from the gym. Drinks tonight, because I think I'm back in control of it all.

What happened?!
Nothing really, it's just so busy and scummy. And there is so much rubbish everywhere!

I love London, love wandering round, but I'm not enjoying wandering round here.

Also, the Bullring is so depressing and hot, just queues of people everywhere, queuing for shops, pubs, toilets, all just on their phones.

Not for me.

Good Mn thread today. Would you call your new baby daughter Myra? Erm, no, it's an unusual name forever associated with her.

Katy Perry!

And I…

Cackling at the thought of some bored mum
in a £3 million Surrey home sat on her phone with a glass of Chablis discussing the merits of BABY MYRA.

@Sardonicus we walked into Bacchus bar, had a wee, wandered around, admired the building, judged the people and walked out.

The canal area is so much nicer. We're now in the Gin Vault.

Something I’ve learned since owning a pear tree- they ripen off the tree. Pick them and about 4-5 days later they’re edible.

Oh believe me, I've left them longer than that - still rock hard. Perhaps it's the variety.

We've been out to CURRY CLUB tonight. Got to be at a kids birthday party for 9:30am now :zombie:
