Good Morning. Woke up and went for a run at 7, and then came back had breakfast and took the dog out. I have such a beautiful view of mounds of countryside here, and am going to attempt to PAINT IT. Attempt being the operative word. :D
 
My Primitives boxset arrived. Add that to yesterday's Bandcamp stash and I am all set for listening material to get me through self-iso.

Can you believe Virgin Active still has not shut. Not that I have been there this morning, but Boris' 'shut as soon as you possibly can' means they will probably drag it out for the weekend.

M&S are doing Friday mornings for NHS workers and social workers for an hour at opening. I'll be there next week if I can't locate any bloody hand soap before then

And are there any cafes that aren't giving free coffee to NHS workers at the moment?
 
I don't work for the NHS but I have a NHS ID card because I need to use their system Rio.
I got free drinks in Burger King yesterday which was nice.

I use their system as well (but here in GP practices it's EMIS - I think Rio may just be hospitals?), but we have some other arrangement rather than needing an ID card. Just having the email address gets me a discount for lots of online things, but clearly I need something I can show. I wonder if I can get one of those blue light cards?

I have not got a Blue light card yet, but I know last year it got extended to social workers as an emergency service, I keep meaning to get one!

Just looking at the website and I think it's borderline whether I'd qualify or not. I work in an NHS setting, alongside NHS staff, but I don't work FOR the NHS. But then it also says 'social care workers'. Obviously I'm not a social worker, but I wonder if it could be classified as social care? But then depending on how widely you stretch that term loads of people could be.

At least I've got my priorities right at such a time, wondering if I can get free coffee and the odd discount.

No, I'm just a drugs worker. But I spend a lot of time in meetings with social workers.

I've just spent an entertaining half hour watching a guy trying to get his car out of the locked pub car park near my flat. A low loader had just arrived and was backing up to the foot high wall around the car park when someone came out of the pub and unlocked the gate. I was quite looking forward to seeing what they were planning.

My cousin needs to STFU on the oldies WhatsApp group. They're all trying to stay positive and post pictures of BOWLS OF SOUP and LARGE DRINKS and she's posting TORRENTS OF DOOM from other social media. I'm not saying they're NOT TRUE but PLEASE DO THINK OF THE AUDIENCE
 
Getting stoned, pissed and eating spicy crisps. Heard from my mate whos cousin has a dog he got from a doctor in Italy that its a little know cure for the coronavirus. Please pass it on.
 
I might have to try the suggestions in both of the posts above this one. Except I don't have any nail varnish. So maybe just alcohol and weed and some not-spicy crisps.

I actually went out to buy some (but not just that I actually need food) because all my nail polish is at a friend’s.
 
I was going to say if you had to fill in a form to go out and you said you had to go and get your NAIL POLISH from a friend's the authorities might not be VERY PLEASED :D

I thankfully got a new set of acrylics done on Tuesday. Can’t get through this pandemic with bad nails for CHRIST SAKES. :disco:
