I walked from Piccadilly through to Drury Lane when I saw Frozen a couple of months back. People were queuing to get in to M&Ms world. It made me sad on a number of levels.

One of the things I dislike most about London is how flat it is and the lack of views

You could walk from Paddington through Marylebone, into Regents Park and then up to Primrose Hill, then down to Chalk Farm for the tube. It's a really lovely walk.

You're about a 10 minute walk away from the park. It's not on the way, but you could easily divert to get there. Do it - the view from the top is fantastic!

you must have spoken to Americans on their way to frankie & Benny's..

This was the waitresses and bar staff etc. In fact I didn't hear any American accents.

Interestingly, I expected it to be crazy busy everywhere. But actually it was far quieter than I expected. We see busier shops and streets on the island. Although we are much smaller I guess.

Far too many CLOTHES SHOPS though. I hate CLOTHES SHOPS

Maybe we didn't see much of covent garden most of the places we saw we're cobbled streets. And several theatres.

It’s when you get to the likes of Wood Green that the hills turn up. I do now recall biking in Central London (I used to go from Hackney to Victoria) and actually it is very flat

Oh we commented on how flat it is. It's the only way we managed to walk 8.5 miles in the heat tho. I wouldnt have done it if it was hilly.

It's not so much the hills I enjoy as the views. I do LOVE an URBAN VIEW.

Definitely south coast (although in many ways I prefer the North coast, going to Ilfracombe and around it earlier this year just confirmed it's poorly connected and feels too remote). Similarly Cornwall feels a little too distant as well.

I've never done Berlin but it's somewhere I'd like to go. We might do a Christmas market cruise to Copenhagen, Bridge and a few other places in December. I need cold.
