Saturday Night Live

Last night’s episode was mid. I know people love when Ryan cracks up in every skit but it just gets old to me.

I think the funniest bit was Harry Styles

when did his accent get so wild? honestly not sure Haz has the comedic chops for this.

Chloe Troast, who really should have stayed on because she's very funny, has a really fun instagram

LOVE HER

there weren't many sketches but I quite enjoyed the ones I watched. especially the ridiculous karate dojo one. Che was on fire on Weekend Update and Sarah Sherman's bit was FAB

I kind of feel for the rest of the cast because Ashley has risen very quickly; she’s basically on track to become a regular cast member. Still, it’s great to see she’s connecting with more people, she gives me the vibe of a Kristen Wiig and Will Forte lovechild :disco:

As for the others, Chloe and Jane aren’t really adding much for me, and that other guy, yes, he’s attractive, but pretty forgettable overall (I Can't even remember his name)

I'm just watching the Colman Domingo ep now.

this was probably my favourite. good ep but I'm not sure I find Colman that funny... he's charming though

and one I missed from the Jack Black ep that was actually so good. Ashley's lines don't even have to be funny - she's just funny as fuck. a STAR!

this has to be the funniest of these promos. I howled.

I think she did pretty well but she spent a lot of time reading the cue cards which was a bit distracting

I can't with the US version right now. It having its weakest cast in years coupled with the UK version slapping just makes it all look so pale and tired to me

OK... this episode was shit. the writing is just way behind the UK show and the sketches go on so long with so few punchlines... I can't remember the last great episode.

the song about cheating and home security pre-tape were shit! whenever they write a song these days it sucks. it's a shame cos Olivia was well up for it but where were the JOKES honey?

I can't even bring myself to watch the cold opens anymore. Pete Hegseth being an angry alcoholic was a one-time joke that's suddenly opening the show every week?

With the insanely stupid cast turnover this season, it genuinely feels like Lorne Michaels is self sabotaging the show and wants it to end.

This full Phil Hartman bit is nowhere to be found online (I have it but anyone who uploads it gets an instant copyright claim).

This is the best that’s up there and it is STILL funny :D
