The lady that lives next door brought us a bougatsa she made herself and some milk waffers today. And we asked why and she told us it's because in Bulgaria (where she's from) this is the Saturday of the Souls so they make sweets to honour the dead and give them to friends and family. How sweet.

For reference this is a bougatsa

Well, this year's combo of jabs absolutely flattened me yesterday. I was slightly groggy at first and by 1 o'clock, I was burning up and all dizzy. Left work, got home about 2...then some absolute bastard started using the world's loudest leafblower outside. My fury only worsened my headache but he stopped at about 2.30 and the next thing I knew it was half-five.

On my last change on my way home. The rail replacement service wasn't quite the hellscape I'd imagined.

It all started off so sophisticated with cocktails in lovely Cambridge venues and then descended into gallons of wine.

Latest vax impact, I have serious wind :shy:. Just as well I live alone, otherwise I;d be getting dispatched to a hotel overnight while this wears off. Ugh.

As ever, Kitty has other priorities like demanding treats, sleeping, cleaning himself and generally being adorable to worry about fireworks.
