I went scorched Earth in the backyard, why today of all days I Do Not Know - but it felt necessary. There is now space to actually sit out there, the mummified carcass of the big dead bird the boys killed has finally been removed and I have put up perty solar lights. I will now go inside for the day and Not Use It.

It turns out if you do a lot of gardening in hot weather and then drink prosecco and have a kitchen silent disco whilst you cook Spanish food you get very giddy and a bit emosh. But not in a bad way.
