Boy (less than a year, ginger tabby) girl (about four, sleek black and skinny), indoors, dry food.

I know them already. They're not Kitty but the ginger is quite similar.

Speaking of cats, there seems to be a new neighborhood cutie on the prowl.

Rather frightening time earlier today. Mr S & I were on the motorway when the front tyre on the driver's side blew. Thankfully I managed to stay calm & got us off at the next exit as the whole car rattled around us, but the sheer suddenness of it didn't half shake us up. I immediately thought of the recent death of Diogo Jota after the same thing happened & at least we did get away unscathed.

Fitted a new lock today. Went down to Screwfix with the old one - "can I have one of these?" I naively asked. The one they sold me was the wrong size because it turns out the margins on these things are in millimetres. Anyway, got a replacement and after much sweating and the odd swearword, the job was done. Including breakfast, a quick google and 2 return trips to the industrial estate, took two and a half hours. Not proud of that.
