Saturday thinks it’s time to come home

It's a beautiful day here. Warm enough for me to ditch my jacket AND cardigan :o

We've decided to head off to the botanic garden just for somewhere lovely to sit and read (and not talk to each other).

Lovely to have you back @Rita . How are things going?

I am feeling so much better thank you darling, and am in a good head space. Had a lot of thinking time and am going to be selling up later in the year and moving back over to Ireland hopefully later in the year as I am terribly home sick all at once after leaving there a good 30 years ago it has all come at once. One last Summer in this beautiful place though and I am going to make it count.

Sounds big - but that's always been your long term plan anyway hasn't it? I'm sure I remember you posting about it before.

Yes, that was always the end game but I got in to a relationship rather reluctantly as I knew it was an obstacle in my journey back home. After my recent experience I have realised that I am not immortal, and my Mother is certainly not getting any younger so I am going to push things along. My son is still at school but it looking to leave at the end of the year when he will be 16 so the time feels right.

Also TRAVEL. I have not been away anywhere other than Ireland since 2019 before covid hit and I am lucky enough to have friends dotted all over the World so I am going to spend a lot of time away as Ireland is a bit quiet for me, even still. So 6 months away and 6 months at home sounds ideal. Let’s go and see the World again.

Isn’t it GLORIOUS. Not quite BIKINI WEATHER but by god it’s on its way! :disco:

Howdy @Rita !

It is warm out and I'm in the office. But, let's face it, I wouldn't have been out the house anyway because Glasgow. Sun's oot = scum's oot.

I’ve not really been drinking a lot recently but think I will have a bit of a blow out today. My poor bar feels UNLOVED.

I'm taking my twin 14 year old nieces to the cinema later this afternoon.

I do hope I'll have drinking company on moopy this evening.

What is it about the slight bit of sun that makes me want to DRINK! Just poured a glass of rosé :disco:

Gosh I can't believe they're 14 already!

Only another two odd years before they reproduce.

I know which one I want to be full of tonight but the guy I want to hook up with didn’t answer my text since this morning???
Ugh I had that yesterday. It’s always the PROPER HOT ones too

I like him for his personality (and looks). When I said I was coming to New York, he said he missed me and wanted to see me, but now he’s being vague about his plans
