Saturday today

I’ll nip to Sainsbury‘s later to browse their selection of home brand frozen pizzas :disco:

Maybe! Though he was quite scathing about their selection and also the mislabeling of things as American when they aren't :o We really should expect better from McEnnedy's OF ALL BRANDS.
I just can’t believe the ingratitude, rudery and ignorance if you don’t mind my saying. We ALL know McEnnedy’s are the CREME DU LE CREAM of AMERICAN BRANDS!

I honestly can’t think of a more unappetising name for a foodstuff than a CORN DOG!

American food is about as legitimate as the concept of America. Built on a lie and sold to willing idiots!

I'll happily eat cold curry and rice (chinese) in bed but the thought of a cup of mash chills me to the bone, that's next-level bad snackery.
It's filth

And ever better with a bit of grated cheese, brown sauce and onion bits on it

I’ve noticed that not ALL branches have the promised theme goods in stock. I was hoping for a surely vile but enormous XXL ricotta and spinach cannelloni thing for around tuppence and did they have it? NO!

WHERE ARE THE OFFERS I BELLOWED

Feeling super faint again. Mr Ag is nipping out to get some

Well we've made contact with a DJ and a decorations man and will shortly lay down deposits. It's all going so smoothly and currently only about £6k. Who said weddings were stressful?

*dies of anxiety*

I really disagree with this. We have lots of shit of course, but also a lot of great food that combine a lot of different cultures foods in interesting ways

But you agree that America is essentially a false country.

It’s Saturday night guys, a conversation about CORN DOGS doesn’t need to lead to a philosophical reckoning with the idea of the nation state.

I've been watching the Banshees of Inisherin for about an hour now and I've still got no idea what it's about. If there isn't going to be a plot twist or explanation I'm going to be very angry.

saw ABBA Voyage again this afternoon for the fourth time and now I can't stop thinking about slicked back Björn in the LAYLOM / SNC section :su2:

Hey moopy. Today I woke up convinced that I'd pull out of a wedding and freaking out a little about it. I told myself to shake it off and that a few hours of discomfort for me was miniscule and shouldn't get in the way of being a good friend.

I know it sounds dumb and ridiculous to be proud of myself for doing this but I feel like it was a big step over my social anxiety and I am quite happy. The day was lovely too.

good for you babes. I am a big advocate of staying home and doing self care if the social anxiety is tidal. going anyway and having a great day is an achievement.

today I watched my team lose at football, went to the cinema with a friend for a cocktail and a movie, and that's it. cute saturday, and it also feels like an achievement for me to keep things low key at the weekend sometimes for the sake of being in a good state of mind during the week to come.

I'm quite emotionally UNHINGED sometimes (overshare, but obvious also) and I can kinda steady that ship a bit by not spending a weekend fucked up or being too socially available.
