I'm a little confused that the programme presented A Little Bit Alexis as something less than a seminal moment in popular music.

Jocelyn's hair this season is quite remarkable.
 
Moira's reaction to the soap opera convention - 'a motley crew of pale, dewey faced salamander people' :D

i love this so much now. i'm almost finished with season 5 and i cannot believe it has to finish. can't we petition or something?

I've only really just started this but halfway through Season 2 and loving it. Both David and Alexis are amazing.

In Season 1:

Stevie: "What would I even do in New York?"
David: "Just watch a season of Girls and do the opposite of what they do"
 
I don't know when exactly it was introduced, but Moira's pronunciation of 'Bay-bay' has become a total highlight of season 5. I love how they keep finding different excuses to crowbar it in. :D

I think this one might be the perfect Schitt’s Creek episode. I was genuinely a little VERKLEMPT during the scenes with Patrick dealing with coming out to his parents.

I’m struggling to think of a TV or film gay couple I love more.

This is basically IT. They are so well written and there really isn’t a weak link.

Indeed, as an ensemble cast, almost everyone is brilliant. I say almost, because I LOATHE Roland.

I want to have a friendship like David and Stevie. Apart from when they slept together. That’s the only real taint on the otherwise perfect scripting.

Roland's still the weak link but he doesn't take me out of it like he used to. I think it helps that he seems to be in it a little less now when compared to the early episodes.

What a success story this show has been!

The humor is fucking brilliant. And I don't think I've ever watched a comedy where I've loved basically ALL the characters.

Moira is of course the jewel in the crown. I am OBSESSED with her fucking accent :D Especially the way she pronounces "baby" as "bèbè" LOL
 
Also, Season 6 is out January 2020. And it's the final season :(

I personally find David a bit ANNOYING, especially since he got the hot BF, but maybe I'm just a BITTER CUNT who can't stand to see anyone HAPPY.
 
I think I first watched a couple episodes of this nearly two years ago, and enjoyed it, but not in a major way. It became one of those 'yeah, must get around to that again' shows, but something always got in over it.

About a month or so ago I started season one again, and almost gave up on it after about five or six episodes, but so glad I stuck with it. From season two onwards it's been solid gold.

I really think that David may be my favourite male comedy character ever.
 
It definitely grows on you, doesn't it? I don't think the first season is necessarily worse than what follows, you just fall so much in love with the characters as it progresses.
 
Yes, a friend of mine gave up on it early because she didn’t like the characters. I don’t usually buy the whole “stick with it, it gets better” mantra as I often reject that when I’ve sat and watched 6 hours of a dud show only to be met with that phrase, I had to say it because they definitely do become very likeable.

For me however, liking the characters isn’t generally high on my personal list of reasons to watch a show/film.

Now it is just the waiting until Netflix make this emotional rollercoaster available.

The fifth season also started being shown in January and UK Netflix got the whole lot in May so unless things are moved up this time we may have a bit of a wait.
 
I've been watching this on and off for ages but because I can never stick at anything it's taken forever. But today I watched pretty much an entire season, which puts me somewhere in season 3 to date

It's just astonishingly good and I love how they're fleshing out the characters now with meatier non-comedy-but-only-for-a-moment bits.

In terms of leads, Moira, David and Alexis are all equally incredible.

Why is it stopping now it's actually getting recognition?
 
As much as I love the show, there is something about not running a good thing into the ground. How many sitcoms have gone right off the boil when pushed for too many seasons?
 
I'm up to the episode where Moira and John get makeovers to look poor-ish and I'm dying. Moira's hair! The random cockney accent :D

It was amazing from the off but they've definitely refined it as they go
