I think going out on a high, with your audience wanting more is the way to go, even though selfishly I don’t want it to end. I’m not sure many shows can ever say that.
 
Oh that feels quite far away, it'd be a perfect binge while we're all stuck at home
 
I wouldn't guarantee we'll be clear of it by then...
 
While I have an ever-growing Netflix list I could do with the new season being available right about now. It is going to be emotional. :(
 
I have an outside-of-the-show crush on the gay with the eyebrows, so this will do just nicely seeing as I've only seen 1 episode.
 
the first few episodes were great and then it sort of fizzled. it was sweet and charming and everything we've come to expect but there weren't many moments.

for me anyway.

I watched this last night. I'd agree that it perhaps wasn't the best season. However a VERY satisfactory ending and as someone who has been invested since early days I'd happily watch it all again.

Drunk Moira is an absolute DELIGHT.
 
I'm five episodes in and enjoying very much. It definitely feels like Moira is centre stage so far, which is obviously a good thing, though a little more Alexis would nice.
 
Finished watching this today. It was as wonderfully warm and fuzzy feeling as ever I thought.

Until seeing the puff documentary I had no idea that Twyla is also a Levy.
 
On episode two

I'm up to episode 8 season 1 (10% through the entrie lot).

Eugene aged really well. So well that I looked him up as he must have been a dish when younger. Wrong, he was the American Pie dad of course (I had no idea).

I'll also throw in that only recently realised the mom was Kevin's mom in Home Alone.

The son is cute, but verging on how badly some of Jack's lines aged in Will & Grace. The actor being much better looking does help though.
 
Finished watching this yesterday and like everyone else, after a slow start, I found myself watching obsessively. They're all brilliant, but Moira was very special, Alexis' growth lovely to see, and a character like David on television felt really good. I want to keep seeing effeminate, bitchy queer men on television. And I found the whole thing so moving, not just Moira's little pep talks to Alexis, but also David and Patrick's relationship, perhaps how it tapped into the way so many queer people don't think we will ever find love. It was incredibly beautiful to follow.
 
I finally plucked up the courage to watch the end of this.

it was graceful and lovely. But I do want more.
 
I’ve still not finished this so just picked up again. The episode where Patrick is forced out of the closet to his parents is so great. They way David and his parents reacted was just lovely and I’ve not seen it done quite like that before. Usually at least one side gets offended or angry about something.
 
Presumably it's all game playing, but Eugene Levy being up for lead and Dan Levy supporting actor just doesn't feel right.

All 4 actors have equal billing so it wouldn’t make sense to pit them against each other and split the vote for the lead category, so the only option is to put them in the categories they stand the best chance of winning, although admittedly Eugene seems to have been sacrificed to give Dan more of a chance of a win.
 
Yes, I understand it's playing the game. But when the whole series (and pretty much half the run of the entire show) was building towards David's wedding, him being supporting feels odd.
 
I agree, but if it means more wins for them, then I'm all for it.

SURELY Catherine will win.

Sucks to be the actress who plays Stevie, but what a fabulous clean sweep!
 
They won all the comedy categories, 4 acting, writing, directing and series. I think it’s a historic sweep.
