It very much captured the zeitgeist of the quarantine months for me. Truly a modern tragicomedy.

C4 are weird that way. Angie Tribeca was also reduced to sporadic airings on 4Music. Also no word on Season 2 of Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, but nooo, it’s The Big Bang Theory and The Goldbergs on endless repeats.

This show remains such a warm blanket of comfort. I wrapped myself in it constantly in 2020 and for parts of 2021 - but I still come back for the occasional 21 minute snuggle after a shit day.
 
I've been rewatching this since they started showing it on Dave. They are currently in the second half of season 4. This is the third time I watched it - the first time on my own after reading about it here and the second time when I badgered Mr L into it, but they were very close together. I think it's been two years or nearly that since I watched an episode, and it really is like discovering it all over again. I really do think David and Patrick may be my favourite TV love story ever.
 
And just re-reading this thread, don't those Covid Emmy awards just look FUCKING WEIRD already?
 
This is now back on German(?) Netflix ... and I feel like it's time for a rewatch.
