Very sad He was a staple of the era my brother and I would watch wrestling. I read yesterday about his family getting ready to turn off life support, which really must be so difficult to contemplate.

The sad thing is that he had chance after chance to turn himself around - he couldn’t wrestle to save his life but he had charisma and that made him a star. His drinking was so out of control that other wrestlers flat out refused to work with him because he was such a liability.

I actually used to think he was OK for a big guy. He had good matches with Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels back in the DAY
