What a bleurgh morning. Subway broke down 2 stations from my destination and I had to walk, it's pissing down and something has gone down in the team with a colleague walking out looking sad and no-one is talking. Yuk.

I've finished by Swedish niece and everything has been dispatched. My cards are all away except folk I will definitely see. But I'm not done. I'm going to get finished by Friday so that I can try and enjoy the run-in. Well, maybe not "enjoy" but "not spend in a panic".

Why are some people impossible to buy for? It’s JARRING.

When I am opening my gifts on Christmas Day I always get lambasted with “you are IMPOSSIBLE to buy for” before I even get the chance to see what is inside the wrapping paper. I genuinely don’t want anything. I have quite expensive tastes and I wouldn’t expect family or friends to pay as much on me as I spend on myself. I LOVE buying gifts for others, but do not give to receive () and get a lot more joy from seeing others faces when they open their gift from me.

I'm not buying anyone any presents apart from my mum and stepdad.

My close friends and younger brother and I have all decided instead of presents, we will go out in the new year to a nice restaurant together.

And Mandy and I aren't doing presents as we've spent all our money on our South Africa holiday.

It's made Christmas shopping much easier

I'm stuck at my school, 25 miles from my home. The weather is torrential. Nothing leaving bus wise until about 5.10pm. And I'm out for a meal tonight. Kill me.
