Anyway - most people recognise this as her BIG ONE and I have to say, revisiting it recently I'm starting to appreciate its worth much more. BIG singles coupled with some amazing, subdued album tracks. Classic sheryl. YAY

Although I think they picked the best track as singles, i'd have loved to have seen 'Redemption Day' released.

I decided to have a listen through her back catologue today, spurred on by the new album. I totally forgot how much I actually love this album, probably my favourite Sheryl album, though 'Wildflower' does run it close. The singles are marvellous, but then so are most of the albums tracks too.

I can never choose between this and The Globe Sessions. Both masterpieces.

It's annoying that Free Man isn't available on streaming anywhere, such a skewering of the rise of the militant right - Sheryl really clocked them early huh?

This is all they say:

SOURCE: ADA. Much care was taken to identify the best possible sources for vinyl mastering. The pre-mastered flat mixes of this album were originally printed from the 2” 24-track to DAT tape. The final mixes were identified and sent to Justin Perkins who assembled new vinyl cutting masters using a digital/analog hybrid process captured in 96kHz/24bit. Lacquers were cut by Jeff Powell.
