Oh the marina in MARSIELLE is much better than the marina in HULL. TRUST ME, I spent all of 2018 there writing about the “gentrification” of it.
 
I loved Marseille.

And even if you don't like Marseille, you've got the Calanques on your doorstep.

Hull has got GRIMSBY
 
French Moopsters can correct me if I'm wrong but the whole Pas-de-Calais region has a reputation in France as being a bit of a hellhole much in the same way certain areas of East Anglia in the UK do.

There was a really popular film a few years ago which basically made fun of how special :eyes: they are over there, 'Bienvenue Chez Les Ch'tis'.

I was in a Pop Idol style singing contest in a pub on the outskirts of Hull once upon a time. Star and Garter I believe it was called.

Rough doesn’t even come close!
 
I'm sure I've talked about it before but I had a truly dismal weekend in Barnsley once, staying with a lady I knew off a forum I used to post on who revealed she was a witch and could perform multiple spells "including love spells" :eyes:
 
I can only think of one NICE road in Barnsley and that’s not somewhere I’d want to go at night.

Thankfully not! I was very lucky that most of my embarrassing teenage forum antics happened on GameFAQs, a site where the topics would get locked after 500 posts and then automatically PURGED after thirty days :disco:

As for whether they worked, myself and the other gay who was staying agreed to an extremely half-hearted go on her breasts while drunk but THAT'S ALL.
