:D Am I the only weirdo who had bus friends? When I was without a car for many months I used to catch the same time buses every day and after a few weeks I had made friends with postie-bloke who used to get my going-home bus into work because he worked nights in the sorting office, vet girl (she worked in a vet clinic down the road from my work) and Mencap scarf lady (worked for Mencap and always wore a big scarf). When I then got my new car I was driving home past the bus stop and Mencap scarf lady was stood there and it was freezing (February) so I stopped and offered her a lift into town. I also offered a lift to vet girl one morning on the way in because she was alone at the bus stop but I think she thought I was some kind of homicidal weirdo (she recognised me from the bus at least) and said she had to go to the town centre first to pick something up so declined my invitation.

Actually, after typing all of this I've realised that southern people don't like to chat with strangers on public transport.

Very true. If somebody tried to strike up a friendship with me on the bus I would probably squeeze myself out of one of the little windows.

That might be why somebody called me a SOUTHERN CUNT on the night bus in Fresher's Week all those years ago :(

I've deleted grindr and my life is better for it

although my bed is no warmer

(that was a genuine person who used to message me every couple of months about it - I always felt like I was breaking his heart when I broke my £12 CASIO WATCH SHAME to him each time)

Grindr is so unsettling (I still have it though :square:) Bumble is so much better

I keep getting likes on Tinder but don’t find any of them attractive :(

NOT EVEN A BIT

The problem with the apps is that its so easy to reject people that would probably be perfectly nice/likable/good looking in real life. Too bad its the only way to meet people during a pandemic

Well I suppose there is THAT but then I’m SOMEWHAT known for posting rather nice remarks about certain posters that have shown their face on here :eyes:

Well then take your standards here and bring them to Tinder (no offense meant to anyone. I don't know what anyone looks like).

I went on a few dates on a whim with a guy who I didn't think was that attractive who I felt I could connect with. And the dates were so good. Too bad he ghosted me :eyes:

Actually the longer I go without sex the more abstract I’m finding it, I watch porn and just think ‘what are you doing, this is so dumb!’.
I hate those moments when you accidentally apply critical thought to sex and porn. Everything comes crashing down so quickly.
