Jack has come a long way since I saw him supporting one of Alisha’s Attic in a one hundred capacity venue in Wolverhampton :D
 
About 15-20 years ago, an erstwhile associate and myself tried to put our theory that you can make anything Christmassy just by adding bells to the test. We managed iron Maiden's "Number Of The Beast" but kept collapsing with very audible laughter when trying to do Motorhead's "Ace Of Spades". I wish we'd pursued it.
 
I hope my 40 year old Greek gay self relentlessly googling for some shirtless pics of Jack Savoretti feels Christmassy enough to all you Northerners.

Slightly awkward moments when Jonathan asked The Spice Girls their favourite Kylie songs though.
 
^ I didn’t think it too awkward though couldn’t believe Mel B named the Locomotion as her favourite. I’m assuming her mind went blank and that’s the first she thought off. At least Mel C displayed some Kylie knowledge choosing Confide In Me and Shocked.

And even with Locomotion, Mel B was all like "Y'knoooow, what was the name of that first one from the clip..."

^yeah I think Mel B misconstrues being a dickhead for being feisty. She was quite abrasive and obnoxious asking Novak Djokovic about his wedding ring. The other 3 came across quite well.
 
I think the problem with the Spice Girls is that when they are together they all come across as somewhat cuntish but individually they seem to be relatively nice save for eternal cunt Mel B who clearly has an influence on them when they are a pack.

I get the impression she hates Kylie anyway. Didn't she make some remark about them sharing the same plastic surgeon at some point in the not too distant past?
 
I found the performance dull, dull, dull.

I get why a Christmassy version of a ballad from the album was deemed to be a good idea. And maybe after the divisive X Factor performance, this is a much safer option.

But I just don’t find her particularly engaging when she’s singing something so lifeless.
 
Another very nice performance on Michael McIntyre.

Jack has included a recording of the Venice live performance as a bonus track and instant grat for his upcoming album. Kylie hasn't been small fonted on the sleeve though:

 
“Golden” is top 30 on the albums chart too. Seems to have done the trick nicely! Shame it won’t be a real hit- it so deserves to be.

Is there any more promo lined up?
 
Top 10 on iTunes is way better than anyone could have anticipated. This has been such a success for our Kylie Ann.

After the Jonathan Ross show only managed to get it to the mid thirties I certainly wasn't expecting Top 10.

Did Dancing manage as high as #7?
 
Stop Me From Falling apparently reached number 16 on the download chart so it presumably peaked in or around the iTunes top ten at some point. Anyway, it is wonderful to see that this has some crossover appeal at this stage of the campaign. It would be nice to think they have some more promo planned in the next few weeks but I don't think I've seen anything specific confirmed.

My chum had got me free tickets but to be honest, I wasn’t that bothered as it was turning into a bit of a FAFF...

And it's fair to say that a huge amount of the position of Dancing came about from loon purchases, whereas surely that can't be a factor at all here.

She has a week or so to get it better for Belfast and Dublin. If she has to cancel a second time there’ll be a Kylie riot (even if it can’t be helped).

I’m wondering if it’s ticketmaster or the venue I’d ask about changing my tickets from standing to seated if there’s seating available. We got standing months ago as we planned a vodka fuelled evening of dance but my friend Kaz’s bone cancer has progressed rapidly and she has difficulty walking at the moment (there’s no way she could stand) but she’d love to still see Kylie for the first time.
 
Yikes, I presume she's pulled out of the Christmas thing to make sure her voice is fine for the Belfast and Dublin shows

Outside of Kylie I'm not sure there is Moopy interest in Jack post shirtless reveal, but he's gone kind of restrained disco on his new one so I'll just leave this here:
