OUCH STILETTO IN THE EYE

Not an all time favourite by any means, but I do enjoy this, even though I find Bridget Fonda's character to be WELL ANNOYING. Jennifer Jason Leigh is really quite fantastic and enjoyable to watch.

I also liked the Neighbours copycat storyline in which Angie Rebecchi (Toadies Mum) suddenly started dressing like Cheryl and it was reasonably scary. That was inspired

I really like it. It just suffers the problem that all of these kind of films have, where the setup is great but they never have ANY idea how to resolve it, so it always ends on a really silly note. (See also: The Hand That Rocks The Cradle, Misery etc)

Jennifer Jason Leigh is a really good actress. I actually felt a bit sorry for her character before she went PROPER mental and started throwing puppies out of windows.

Agreed. It starts off brilliantly but I get bored after thingy gets stabbed in the eye. Fantastic movie death though.

What on earth happened to Bridget Fonda? She has just vanished off thev face of the planet. Her name makes her sound much more famous than she actually is (most likely thanks to Jane Fonda) - SWF is probably her most famous role I rec unless I'm missing something blatently obvious.

I like Bridget Fonda and did think she'd be a big star. Liked her in the remake of La Femme Nikitta.

I LOVE The Assassin, but isn't it called Point of No Return in most places? That's another one that suffers from a crap ending, but the film introduced me to Nina Simone, so I'm grateful.

Oh yeah The Assassin. I've never seen it, but the film poster was pretty iconic.

She still seems (to me) a lot more famous than her roles actually suggest however. I'm sure if you asked most people if they have heard of Bridget Fonda they would say yes, but at the same time struggle to name many (if any) films with her in.

Saw the matinee today and on my way back. Absolute utter trash, but very entertaining.

The names of the characters and the stiletto in the eye were pretty much the only similarities to the plot, and still some people in the audience were acting shocked, as if they didn’t see it coming
