Street Fighter was a success money wise but the sequel still got cancelled because it was AWFUL

Holly Valance was supposed to be in the sequel so it’s probably a good thing
 
I've not bothered with any Kylie film at the cinema (yes, even the Delinquents) apart from Holy Motors which was superb.
 
In a strange coincidence, Moulin Rouge is the only film I've ever paid to see at the cinema and NEARLY walked out of
 
Agog to belatedly discover that KYLIE put out for the MUSCLES FROM BRUSSELS

Takes me back to when the WHICHEVER IT WAS Mr S moved in. He had a VAN DAMME poster and I had a postcard of CHRIS ISAAK. IT WAS NEVER GOING TO WORK
 
I don't believe that story about Van Damme. I know he is propagating it himself but it's not like he has anything else on, is it?

Did it Again is so underrated. I wish she'd perform it again. She does seem to celebrate it a little on social media. I bloody love it :disco: and the video.
 
I like it but the sound has not dated well. I prefer that Australian remix - Summer Breeze was it?

I’m not entirely sure that’s true. At the time Word is Out got a bad rap but the big four singles didn’t have anywhere near the reputation they have now.
 
Well I'm speaking as a fan. It felt a bit less exciting and more pedestrian.
 
Similarly I absolutely hated What Kind Of Fool at the time and still do.
 
I could appreciate that What Kind Of Fool could be seen as a backward step in some ways, but I could never deny the joy of it.
 
Word Is Out was panned for being a half-assed attempt to jump on the New Jack Swing bandwagon

But I never liked any of that much anyway

Do you not prefer that remix I posted? It is less obvious in that way.
 
Saying all that I'll take WKOF ANY day over the frankly atrocious Celebration.
 
I like both of them. I didn't know there was a short version of that remix, I thought there was just the one on Remix Hits which is an obvious shonky vinyl rip
 
I think Celebration is fine, but it barely warrants much discussion beyond delivering a relatively modest hit to keep the then uncertain momentum going. I enjoy still having her voice sound this pleasing.
 
I thought What Kind Of Fool sounded cheap and pretty bad back in the day but I do like it now. It’s outclassed in this round’s company though (for me).
 
^ Usually do one every couple weeks to avoid poll flooding (so next one probably this coming weekend) and there’ll be a final overall poll for the top few from each section at the end.
