That’s fine. I was just curious and wondered then what would happen if I started making requests for thread titles to be changed because I didn’t like it, I suppose it’s safe to assume such requests would be met.
 
So the daily thread had Mariah in the title and it was changed because one user requested so? Tell me I got this wrong (too).
 
It's not really 'good humour' to change what I've written repeatedly is it though? I'm hardly in on the 'joke'.

I know well how abusing powers is not always perceived in that way. Not that I'm saying this is the case, I can't complain after all this Mariah Hot Promo :disco: But no, I don't like those things when dub is not in the joke, sorry.

To be fair it seems a fair few people that are against this ‘joke’ are also against tags being brought back.

I think you should all resign and Diddy should do a long speech about how you are all sociopaths.
 
The Tuesday thread title was changed about SIX times back and forth by various people, I have no idea who, but it was becoming very annoying, and I got sick of it so I just changed it to 'Tuesday' to try to stem the constant changes, there was no malice or anything else intended by that.

As mods we do have the power to make changes for the benefit of the forum, and in this situation I felt that was justified. I also was transparent in the change I made, I could have easily kept quiet about it and you would have been none the wiser.

Also note that I did not make any other changes to anything else, all I did was make some comments and I take on board the responses.

So can we now all agree to put this to bed and move on? Some people have a book to finish reading!
 
Y'all don't complain when other artists have lots of threads. We have a thread dedicated to MADONNA'S FACE.
 
They are all straights so it could be anyone. @ButterTart? @big ron? Well I'm just voting for the gayz in the mod election just in case, I don't want Mariah haters in charge.

When I changed it it said 'Tuesday rises above it' - the book part had already been removed. As I said this was the fifth or six incarnation of the title and to be frank, it was getting fucking boring.

If you want to continue going on and on about it then that's your prerogative but I have explained my reasons for my actions and if you cannot accept that then again, that is also your prerogative.
 
Why can't we come clean and name the person that felt that had to remove Mariah from the title? If dub was not in the joke it's not appropriated at all. I need this sorted before the election, thanks.

Here's the chain of events, from what I can GATHER

- I post the thread "Tuesday starts a sixth thread about the Mariah book"
- Someone (likely Alex by his own admission) asks octophone for it to be changed
- octophone changes it to "Tuesday starts a sixth thread about the M***ah book" or similar
- I'm pissed off about that so change it to "Tuesday is pleased they didn't vote for oct***one" for several minutes
- Then I change it to "Tuesday rises above it (BUY THE BOOK)" when I realise the above is rather petty and Mariah taught me better
- Kala now claims someone else removes the (BUY THE BOOK) - THIS is who I want to come forward particularly
- Kala for some reason then decides to get himself fully involved and change it to just "Tuesday"
- I change it to the current "Tuesday names its own thread"
- at some point in the latter part of that, this thread is posted and all hell breaks loose
