Is papa RJN a fan of the dressing? Everything I’ve heard is that the products are just watered down.
 
He’s a fan because it’s low calorie. I find it pretty much disgusting
 
Bright and clear today, dinner plans for tonight, some good company in the office as well. Feeling OK.

I'm off today and plan on doing absolutely nothing.

I saw some good films I wanted to watch, but they're all on TV channels I don't have like Disney Plus.

Why is there so many channels now days that you have to pay for! I already pay for Sky, Netflix, Prime and Hayu 😭
 
I'm having my lunch, earwigging on my flatmate's wfh meeting, and I've never heard so much JARGON in my life. I think my head would explode.
 
Had a quite nice Skype with the parents - a little :sour: at the “well you don’t tell us about what you’re doing, is there a Japanese girl you thought was nice?”

But then at the 11th hour (well it was 11pm) she brought up the World Cup of all things - none of us ever talk about football - to say how people wearing rainbows in Qatar should just respect the country :manson: which neatly segued into how she doesn’t think people should take down statues because they supported slavery

I want to sometimes, I don’t think doing it in anger would be good, it’s not eastenders

But she must be really fucking clueless, I thought she just avoided the subject but if she thought I was gay, and still said the shit she says…

The latter - I didn’t nod and agree, just tried to point out what a weird take it was. She’s an almost-80 year old lifelong Tory, if I have to convince her that slavery was bad at this point then I’m not sure how much progress I’ll make

Could you write a note or letter?
 
It might give her time to process it and have a nice response, rather than saying something she'd regret out of shock.
