Smile, it's Friday!

I DON'T WANT TO KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE SEXUAL GOOSE'S IDENTITY

I prefer her SENSE OF MYSTIQUE

Oooooh so it’s 14 degrees and pissing it down in Yorkshire.

I’m getting flashbacks to the trip I took to the Lake District in my parent’s caravan the week after Princess Diana died. It was pissing it down the day of the funeral and all the pubs were CLOSED, so I sat inside all day watching the funeral on a dodgy 16 inch tv.

:D I had a very similar experience the first/only time I went caravanning with my parents in Brittany. It was constant storms, powercuts and my sister stinking out the toilet. NEVER AGAIN.

I've never done a caravan holiday but I think I'd enjoy it.

My aunt had a static caravan at Brean when we were growing up, so we would go down for a weekend probably two or three times a year. Unfortunately Brean is an irredeemably awful shithole.

Been in a few static caravans. The ones in Scotland were generally horrific but the French ones were a bit better.

My parents used to go to a 60s weekend in Brean each year. They don’t go anymore because it’s basically uninhabitable at this point.

It's basically Weston Super Mare, but without the glamour and sophistication.

I have been to Brean with my sister to walk the dog on the hills above the caravan park. That bit of it is actually alright.

Brean Down (the promontory) itself is quite acceptable in a permanently windswept walk overlooking the brown slick of the Bristol Channel kind of way. But the beach itself and the caravan park are grim.

Does it ever do anything BUT piss it down in Brittany. Dunno why we went every year when it was the same fucking weather.

I’ve got a guy kicking off at me because he reckons the earnings figure we’re using to work out his benefit entitlement this month is too high. He’s self-employed and reported that figure himself several days ago.

I swear to God, if brains were cotton wool some people wouldn’t have enough to make a tampon for a canary.

Imagine THIS tongue against your hole. :disco:

WTF!!

Spent the evening in the caravan park’s on site bar, which was just like the bar from Shameless. The only highlight was a few fit young chavvy dads.
