Yesterday, on the local resident's association Facebook page, I asked whether anybody kept ferrets and, if so, could I have some of their used bedding. I want to try an experiment with my verminous visitors. When we had Piney the snake we never had mice so I figured ferret smell in pertinent areas might have the same effect as Piney smell used to.

Today a lady commented with "I have guinea pigs, would that do?". Not sure why but it made me proper guffaw when I read it.

This is a private page, mainly used for letting people know there's free bread and spuds at the community centre, bring a carrier bag, and where we offer any old shite for free to the first person willing to collect it. It's also used for letting us know about community events, like the "fun day" on the park behind my house which makes me pray for torrential rain that day or when Wolfpack Adventures are coming during the school holidays so the local kids can try archery and axe throwing for free.

I went to TRNSMT today with my children and had the best time. I am not going to lie and say I knew many of the acts but I met lots of great people and enjoyed myself although I had to wear flats. Memories.
