I've read Nicola Coughlan and Aimee Lou Wood lined up as next two hosts on twitter this morning, but not from any verified source.

We do a weekly moopyvision with 13-15 regular players in my friend group

4 people tried to put Fabulous in and we now have 3 different Meek songs in this weeks playlist
 
Excellent host choices. Coughlan is a blast. I'm guessing Wood is, she looks like she's funny (not derogatory).

Yeah, I noticed this - lots more Weekend Update clips which is daft, get them up while it's current! Al Nash's Captain Birdseye had me chuckling.

What's interesting about this is it suggests that Young and Magliano were specifically cast for Weekend Update and are also part of the writing team for it. I think that's similar to the US edition where the Weekend Update hosts only appear elsewhere on occasion.
 


Is there some context for this? A meme, a previous viral Nicola Coughlan Foo Fighters moment? Because I don’t understand it at all and it’s making me confused and angry.
 
LOVED IT as per. Coughlan perhaps the strongest host yet.

What a Life! magazine and QVC made me laugh the most. Love seeing them get gold from the odd british institutions. Weekend Update was also mega, although increasingly I'm getting second hand nerves seeing if Ania will get her lines out without a flub.

So far Emma Sidi is the show's MVP for me, closely followed by Fouracres

Larry Dean? He's a good stand-up but he does seem suspiciously underused. That behind the scenes video did show him seeming a bit down about a sketch being cut.
 
I knew of Larry Dean before. He's pretty funny, so I'm happy he's got this gig, but he's being woefully outshone from the clips I've seen.

Emma Sidi and her fingers killed me.
 
The trouble with a scripted show is that it's hard to know who is naturally funny and who is a good actor. Next Taskmaster contestant - I'd put money on Annabel and Hammed.
 
Ayoade Bamgboye seems underused. I can’t remember anything she’s done other than that radio station sketch.
