another great cold open ft. debut of FARAGE and the return of ANGE :disco: get it!!!

Daniel Day Lewis :D

Attenborough Vs the animals :D

Footlocker Phantom :D

LOVED the two drama teacher Janets too (I'm not going to say why). In fact Sunburn Lawyers was the only weak one for me, and that was still cute to watch.

Attenborough vs the animals is up on the socials - did not expect it, really funny. Fouracres' career is going to be irrecognisable after this, he's been superb.

they've put quite a few up! for anyone who missed it:

one of the best cold opens so far. BIG ANGE!

not a bad monologue

this was really the best sketch of the night - Celeste's cameo :disco:

Al Nash "as himself" as the shy Reform voter :D

love how demented this got

A strong ep to end the series, without any all-out bangers for me. Loved the cold open (Liz Truss!), Blobby Origins, and Thomas the Tank especially, plus the cameos. Ncuti did well and it was fun having Aimee Lou Wood back. Though the best returnee was of course THE WOMAN WHO CAN'T BE IGNORED!!!!

It's been good in the past few weeks to see Celeste, Ayoade and Larry get more to do as it means we end the series without any dead wood. I expect and hope them all to be back in September.

As of right now there's nothing from Weekend Update and only one of the non-cold open sketches on the SNL UK YouTube channel :DAF:

Ayoade was on fire last night. glad she had her moment in the sun with MARTIN LEWIS MONEY SAVING EXPERT!!!

agreed it was a strong last ep, without being series-best, I thought Louis Theroux and the black gospel choir pre-tape were the best sketches.

I think the Jack Whitehall ep was the best for standout sketches, and Aimee Lou Wood's the most enjoyable overall. probably Riz Ahmed's was the weakest. but they've all been good.

even the sketches that aren't funny har har are usually cute, unlike the US show where several sketches usually stink

This is the time for them to really load up the socials with sketches from thw whole series, really get people invested for the next series.

omg. it's just impossible to believe that they produce the show at this speed. like they're reading/choosing sketches on Wednesday and by Friday the makeup, hair and set departments have done all that? it's ridiculous

If it didn't already exist like this in the States, there's no way anybody in the UK would greenlight it like this today. You'd just not believe it could be done.

one of my favourite characters - Emma Sidi was having so much fun with this one

I've got a husband you BELLEND! someone put a ring on this IMPRESSIVE PIECE OF ARSE yonks ago!!

If their social media strategy is to hold back loads of sketches in order to have a steady stream of uploads happening when they're off air, then I still think it's shit and wrong, but at least we know some thought's gone in to it

This is a 6 year old video. Thank you SNL for bringing Fouracres to our attention. We’ve been starved of good new comedians for so long.

with Sky buying ITV there's some talk that ITV might be airing SNL UK - maybe each episode would premiere on Sky and air a week later on ITV? seems like they're still figuring it out but either way it can only be good for viewership. hopefully they won't tone anything down in terms of the jokes on Weekend Update.

so probably through to end of October and more episodes around new year. I need news on the cast!

The whole cast remaining is as positive as the general reaction to it.

Who knew this would be a thing?
