JUST RESET HER AND LET’S START CELEBRATING A VICTORY FOR HOMOSEXUALS EVERYWHERE

Taylor got reset today and Cruel Summer is now back up to #6. So hopefully they get around to Soph. I imagine she’ll be around #10 if she was.

Is Yes Sir I Can Boogie on streaming yet? I do love her version but last time I checked I think it was only as part of like a 15 minute break at the end of the second solo album which isn’t ideal for adding to a playlist.

I rediscovered her (quite splendid) cover of Duel yesterday, which is there as the b-side of Today The Sun's On Us.

I see a 2023 compilation is now on Spotify with the studio version :disco:

Oh yes she did a fine job with it. I remember it from buying the single at the time. Mandy Smith also covered it which was a very odd selection for her.

I take it this is Propaganda's Duel? A pop masterpiece, of course.

#4 UK (+3)
#83 USA (+10)
#91 Worldwide (+39)

This is INSANE!

Is it picking up any airplay? More curiosity than anything...did Running Up That Hill get playlisted by the bigger radio stations in the end?

I feel Kate certainly did in the US, and I vaguely remember it being in the UK airplay chart?

With Soph I’d say in the UK radio two and Heart etc may just play it anyway? It must get a small bit of recurrent play I’d assume before this. It’s the US I’d say they should at least officially send it to pop and AC radio…surely no harm?

OCC saying today it's headed top ten on Fri so I guess they have reset it. yay!

WHAT DOES THAT CHART EVEN MEAN?
Viral charts capture the songs gaining the most buzz on Spotify.

Chart placement is based on a few factors:

If a song has recently risen in plays
How often people share the song
How many people recently discovered the song
Viral charts are entirely data-driven.

Sounds entirely MADE UP to me!

Been added to the Apple main hits playlist as well. If Spotify bite and add to theirs (even if they don’t given she’s already #3), she surely must have a shot at the top five or even top three next week?

def going top 5 next week at a minimum if this sustains for another seven days :disco:

Performance on Spotify in UK cities, week ending 4th January

#15 Birmingham
#13 Bristol
#8 Glasgow
#7 Liverpool
#16 London
#11 Manchester

Natasha Bedingfield up to #69 as well now with Unwritten. What decade are we in?!

Im not complaining, mind.

Listening to the chart and it really is full of rubbish. You get better tunes out of Una Voce per San Marino.
