I must note I only gave this a 9. I'm still not quite over it being so overplayed at the time.

Holds at #2 and up to 505k :o

This surely has to get the #2 spot in the officials now :disco:

This is very 'CWEJ Clipboard of data' but my cousin who is in her early 20's is currently in Thailand with a big group of girls, and they are posting singing MOTDF in videos in bars/back of taxis. I doubt they would have given any thought to SEB previously. Its transcending ALL demographics, locations and CREEDS :disco:

I've been listening to Kitchen Disco Live at the Palladium for the first time. some of the arrangements are hot. Heartbreak sounds so CUNT! having the band there really elevates everything. Disco Inferno, Crying at the Discotheque, Hypnotized... Murder. :disco:

I've also rediscovered some album tracks not played in years like The Universe is You (lost single), Lover, Another Day, Love is Here... she has a great discography. and still some stuff I've never explored from the alt-pop years. so happy she's BACK!

I gave it 4 spins on my way into the office and can confirm I am PLEASED to be CONTRIBUTING to this success :disco:

I’m suddenly in the mood for it again!

If it is still growing in the UK (and perhaps Saltburn itself is still growing), it would be amazing to see it in with a shout at #1 next week

It's still 200k daily behind that Stick song on Spotify, and isn't closing the gap significantly.

Plus, there's big singles out on Friday, no? So presumably the chances are PRETTY SLIM.

Though when does that Stick Season go on ACR or whatever it's called?

It's too bad that the US dance charts are DEAD because it definitely would be fighting for number one there with Yoko Ono or Deborah Cox or someone

OH THE RELEVANCE

Christ knows, with all the Christmas reset business going on.

Plus won't Sophie go to ACR as soon as she hits three declining weeks? The reset doesn't give you nine, does it?

Not even for what is clearly a "repromoted" song rather than something that's just had an upturn, so the equivalent of a reissue?

Honestly, I know I say it all the time, but THIS SHIT MAKES ME SO FUCKING MAD :D

My head hurts :(

I thought that was the reason Kate Bush 'only' had 3 weeks at #1 - not certain though.

I think that’s right. Sophie is increasing this week so even if she falls from next week that should give her five weeks ‘reset’ at a minimum…I think!

They really ought to add it to the main playlist. It’s obviously doing marvellous on its own, but if it ends up at #2 in tomorrows chart and is #2 on their own bloody chart then they really do need to add it.

I’d say with Noah being 200k ahead daily and Ariana dropping tomorrow that it sadly won’t but it’s not impossible.

I thought the BBC claimed they had given their camera operators time off or something so there was no footage of her set. Our Soph wouldn't be getting such SHODDY TREATMENT if she was on this year's bill.

They only filmed MOTD. That was it. Felt it was massively misogynistic considering they showed all of Rick Astley’s set from the day before live…

Some value CD/cassette bundles at Plastic Pop right now for the interested...

The four CDs were reduced further to £15 (plus £8 postage).

I've got a couple on vinyl already but bought anyway. They look lovely and good to have the bonus tracks, though like the Nicola Roberts deluxe they are basically mini LP replicas with no booklets.

The hoarder in me is not comfortable letting go of the original Trip in the super jewel (RIP), or the signed Make a Scene with the legendary booklet including lyrics copied and pasted from metrolyrics.com :disco:

Radio 2 playlist is out and this is not on it, this should be on the A or B List at least!

Radio 1 has a seperate recurrents playlist for older songs getting daily spins, I imagine Radio 2 does too

Where does one find this secret playlist for older songs getting daily spins?!

There used to be a site that showed you how much any song had been played the past thirty days and on what stations but I think that is gone :(

Trying to make out the track list so I know if I need to bother with the CD single

£8 postage for 4CDs? Who's putting them in the envelopes, Taylor Swift???
