So the whole thing about SOPHIE before this was that she was very mysterious - she would send actors to do her DJ sets while she'd be off to the side, she didn't show her face. This video was the first time she revealed herself to the world as a proud trans woman.

It's also (as far as I'm aware) the only track she sings on herself.

Anyway, the one-two NOISE PUNCH of Ponyboy and this will make way for some more ambient stuff for the middle section of the album

The Autechre influence is VERY STRONG in Faceshopping.
