Oh I do know Release Me! I actually like that. I can't remember where I know it from.

I have actually heard of Agnes (probably from that song) but I couldn't pull her out of a lineup. Couldn't name another tune unless you shoved it in front of me like that one either.

Then I think it’s that EP and then Here Comes the Night which I’m currently rinsing out as a compete playlist

If something is (borderline) funny the first time, I don’t see why it isn’t as funny the hundredth time. But I’ll retire the joke if you’re finding it irritating.

I am TOUCHING UP MY MAKE UP before I head out for a meal with the other half this evening. I am also out for a friends birthday meal tomorrow. I haven’t even start Christmas shopping and am starting to feel a tinge of anxiety about it all as it all seems to have creeped up all at once.

*paints nails again*
 
Lovely day out in Cheltenham, although sullied slightly by sitting freezing at the station for a delayed train.

The nicest lunch I've had for years in a French restaurant.

But Pumpkin at the station CLOSED :(
 
I was so happy I actually had a little cry this morning when I was watching the sparrows on the fence queue up for the bird feeder in the back garden (why do sparrows do that but the tits don't?) and two squirrels appeared. I hadn't seen either of them since last Saturday when I blocked up the hole that goes under my house and was worried it was them down there rather than mice and I'd either murdered them with poison or starved them to death because they couldn't get out again. I know that they're technically vermin but it's so cute the way they scamper up and down the trees at the back.

Yes, this is buttering my muffin - very Abba-esque chords and the keyboard trills are very Gimme Gimme Gimme.
