Looking back at that Lift Me Up/What I Am chart battle, it actually would have made a lot more sense for Geri and Emma to switch songs.

But not nearly as much fun. :disco:
 
I forgot all about What I Am. Lift Me Up seemed so much better at the time but I don’t think I could listen to any of them now.

A lot of late 90’s/Early 00’s pop sounds so cringey to my ears now.
 
Lift Me Up might have been better with a more competent vocalist.

But actually I think it would have been utterly forgettable. And say what you want about the song, but it’s CERTAINLY memorable. Those bum notes scorch a mark into the brain.
 
I am reading Geri’s Wikipedia page. In what world did Passion sell 500k? :D

I don't believe people ACTUALLY consider Lift Me Up as a real song. It's so nothingy.

God, I'm still raging over that battle.
 
I do hate Vicky.
But she's been always my fave. I found her voice more bearable than Geri's who sounds awful even on record.

Just look at all the Wannabe live performances, sure victoria doesn't have a lot to do but when compared to the SYBT performances the contrast is noticeable.

Geri was a complete showgirl since the beginning of the band and the obvious scene stealer, Victora was more of wallflower and when she got her bits to sing she always managed to screw it up (unless it was a chorus where she sounded the best as a lead voice). Fuck you Victoria.
 
Don't be ridiculous. Victoria doesn't have a voice. She squeezes an enema to create sound.
 
Geri may not have the RANGE but her voice is ART. See also: Marianne Faithfull.

That must be the most all star line up Jonathan Ross has had in literally years. Usually it's just C list British comedians.

right, I am logged onto TICKETMASTER with a new password reset and looking at my history the first time since Girls Aloud reunion, so I am ALL SET.
I have been to lots of concerts since then, but I am not usually the ticket getter!
