what exactly is the enduring appeal of Spider-man? he's the only superhero who never flops or even close despite having now had 9 films (11 including animated) in 25 years.

and do I actually need to see these? I enjoyed the Tobey Maguire films but haven't seen any since. I feel like the Garfield ones might be more for me.

I think as a character, he’s more kid-friendly. Aside from tragedies within the stories, there’s never really been a tonally “dark” Spider-man film.

I think they've struck the tone perfectly in the Holland films even though I'm not really a big fan as such of any of them.

This had alot to live up to after No Way Home and they threw everything at it including the kitchen sink. There was far too much going on but I enjoyed it alot, and there's room for more movies but I wonder how much longer Holland czn carry on with this.
