Star Trek: Discovery

I will probably be around! I'll try to not be seeing a certain someone who thinks it's the height of comedy to pretend Star Trek and Star Wars are the same thing that night :eyes:
 
Oh no, not another Klingon insides operation coming up. I'll never eat cold meatballs out the tin with a spoon again.
 
I do need to draw attention to Sylvia Tilly's marvelous makeover into both a young and older Kate Pierson at the same time.
 
They're certainly living up to their name. And there did seem to be a shift in tone. Maybe they all had a 2 week holiday midway through or something.
 
I'm a Covider, not a Trekkie, but I'm all in on this. A rather lightweight, cheesy beginning has became an enjoyable romp (am i reading reviews left by zu Clara bow-bentos on freeswingers or coming up with my own opinions - parallel universes flying all over the place).
 
I was agog just how much they went ALL IN on the Mirror universe, I always found it weird that the only previous series to do so was Deep Space Nine (and even there it was mostly an excuse for Nana Visitor to put on a leather catsuit and be bisexual once per series). Obviously the Emperor is absolutely everything :disco:
 
I am loving the "category is" moment of Saru (played by Mama Queen I'm guessing) and Michael walking down the beach in Marks & Spencer's new Fall Grace Jones range.
 
I love how they just had some swamp thing wipe Saru off THE GRID (:eyes:) and then as it all but gets out a knife and fork the scene cuts to Michael reading up on it all saying "fascinating" - all that was missing was her eating popcorn whilst saying it.
 
Episode mind melt, or whatever S2 ep 8 is going for.

Anyway, how cute is Melissa George? I just had to google how I know her and that show would be The Good Wife.
 
Miss Jay would be proud of that strut from The Emperor. I miss seeing her in full other dimension regalia though.
 
Episode 9 has begun and the dial has been cranked. I require no permission to lose my shit if this gets any better. Such a binge I'm having.
 
Due to the multitude of Moopy events on this week, the Star Trek: Discovery season 3 episode 1 first watch party has been moved to Saturday 17 October at 5.00pm.

I look forward to being the only person here :disco:

Well that certainly was a passable episode of generic science fiction television
 
Hello! I am just confirming that I'll be watching on Netflix, and not skipping the intro or any recaps (because I've forgotten half of what happened last season :tongueout:
