Yeah, I've seen that a couple of times.

I mean, it's even got the croaking NOCALS/borderline spoken words (just not by Tess this time) ahead of a timely Annikafiore/Claire wail for the keychange.

They really should've covered Blame It On The Disco for this album actually. It'd be perfect for them.
 
The start of the second verse reminds me of 'Your Disco Needs You'. I think it's the strings more than anything else

Absolutely not! As much as I love it, the Alcazar template was based on Steps back in the day ("Not A Sinner Nor A Saint", for example) but it would be massively wrong for them to try and cover a song which was, let's face it, already out of date when it appeared.

Steps were many things, but they were never novelty past "5678". "Blame It On The Disco" verges on that...
 
I quite like the boys bit, mainly because I know that the key change of ALL key changes is about to erupt into a glittery disco nuclear fireball.

Friday is the start of the tracking week so it'll get added to iTunes and Spotify at midnight I assume?
 
I quite like it in a last place in a Lithuanian Eurovision pre-selection x Sophie Ellis-Bextor b-side with ACTUAL vocals kind of way. It's nice to hear this kind of music being played on the radio again.

Who produced it? The production is solid, but the segueing from element-to-element is dreadful, not what I'd expect from a professional.

Apart from the moopy adoration, do we think this has a real shot in the (crazy) charts?
 
I'm loathe to say something ridiculous as it is too good for the charts... but IT REALLY IS :disco:

Claire belting COME ON BABY is my highlight. I love how they also appear to have got a girl or two to sing over the boys' fleeting moment before that screaming key change.

My only slight debbie downer thought is that Faye usually sounds rather better than HI-I-I-IDE.
 
I am glad that someone finally sat the boys down and let them know their place - ie. backing vox and (Lee) looking nice ONLY.
 
I just played it again and it SLAYED ME EVEN MORE.

It's FUCKING TREMENDOUS! I'd love for it to do well- the buzz surrounding it will surely get them a decent iTunes placing at least...
 
I reckon it will start decent on iTunes. Bloody Sheeran will halt some progress, but with the rabid fanbase and the albums both top 30 I'd say it could reach #10-#20 over Friday/Saturday? Streaming will be low so on the main chart bugger all, but hopefully they've paid for a banner or something and will be behind Louisa on new music Friday tracks?
 
Yeah she has a new one out tomorrow so she will probably get top slot on the new music categories over them I'd say?

I'll be honest, I only thought it was quite good on first listen.

Second listen is GLORIOUS.
 
This is tremendous on my second listen. I need the album now.
 
Also the album is up for preorder on iTunes.
 
On Spotify now. Way down the New Music Friday playlist - 23rd or 24th I think.

I like it, a lot. Exactly what you want from them, and you can imagine the crowd will go off for it live.

I do wish it had a decent middle 8 though. For me that stops it being transcendent.
 
That's a good start. Some success on iTunes is perhaps the best that can be hoped for.
