#7 on iTunes but oh well. It's done what it was meant to do.

Roll on a video.

Why do I feel like I'm going to cry when I see the choreography

:D Oh God I'm exactly the same! It's the magic and miracle of things going right in an otherwise terrible world :disco:

Oh and BRAVO BRAVO to whomever restored this forum to its rightful location :disco:

Why do we still not have an appropriate banner for this?

(sorry, intoxicated for at least 60% of this weekend)

Sorry if this was addressed in the other thread, but does it have to be so small?

I've no idea to be honest, I made it to fit the current dimensions of the top bar. If there was a way of getting more space up there then maybe.

It's not small on a PC/ laptop screen. As far I know we can't have it different for mobile. I would assume most people use Moopy on a laptop or similar than than a mobile device.

Looks like a fine size for me.

I didn't listen to anything they did during their last comeback at all, so I don't know if this is a continuation for them, but I think they've done a nice job of ~maturing~ with this while still playing to their very specific audience. Exactly as campy as you'd want it to be without finding itself on the wrong side of embarrassing.

I'm totally happy with the size and, even better, it looks amusingly cheap on a mobile screen :disco:

#11 in midweeks. Had hoped a little higher (#5 has sold around 17k so guessing they are at about 12k-ish) so that they could end up with 20k or so for the week.

I imagine they will likely fall to about #25 -#30 with a total of around 17-18k. Stable at #9 on iTunes all day though so sales are still ok.

Are they due a big TV performance? Surely some big promo is only way to encourage streams which is what is letting them down

Yes chatting and chopped up versions of Tragedy are all very nice but a live performance of the new single is needed.

Poor Faye. On a POUFFE STOOL, and talked over. At 4.20 she desperately tries to get her two pennies in before LSL/H chime in.

I know it's all part of the joy, but LSL doesn't half look a state. Take the hair up a few tones love!

As expected. Apparently on 14k - so should be fine for top 40 (assuming the sell and stream another 2k over Tuesday/Weds/Thurs which they will do).

#19 on iTunes now. About right. I imagine it'll be down for the next few weeks and then the video on 7th April and I imagine album promo kicking in should see it rise again. Maybe a cheeky 59p discount around then could get it back top 20?

The camp factor is off the charts on this song :disco: I never thought I'd miss STEPS, but fuck, this is disco-pop perfection.

Bite your tongue! I was 10/11 They might not be my cup of tea but that 5678 nursery rhyme was EVERYWHERE. And Tragedy of course. This is better than both imo.

You were? It's just I was 10 when they came out and I thought I was about 7 years older than you?

Out of the top 20 now.

Still, it's absolutely done its job - 'the iTunes #1 tag' was great to announce the comeback, and is great to preface any future promo. And it's not like anybody expected them to have a big single. I guess I can't help but feel a LITTLE disappointed after the excitement of last Friday.

We can only be optimistic for the album, though :disco:

Considering the fact that they could've come back with some absolute dross (as, let's say, the Spice Girls coming back with 'Headlines') just for the money, but in fact they released this max track that they can actually be proud of and on top of that have people buying it, I think it's a major success for a group of 40-year-olds in 2017.

Yeah, but all your points are untrue or inaccurate

Great news on Radio Two.

I doubt highly Capital would get on board? It'd be brilliant if they did chuck them on the C List even for lolz.

Anyway #27 with two days to go. May just miss the top 40 which is a shame. Even just to get #40 would be amazing.

If it does make the top 40, is making it onto the top 40 playlist likely to help it stabilise?
