That did feel like a going home dance and reaction. Julian looked quite pissed off after the scores.
 
I can't see Balvinder not being in the bottom 2 after that.

Yes the routine looked quite disconnected from the music at points. Thought there was too much side by side, which was a bit exposing for her.

Not completely wowed by anything tonight so far.
 
Yeah that was pretty weak from Vicky. This will test her public vote as I have a feeling she's getting a lot of votes each week.
 
I always think of the John Lewis ad with this song (the Lily Allen version anyway) ☺️
The Keane version is better though
 
I really like Karen and Carlos, I suppose her movements could be a bit more 'soft' but I see her as a finalist, maybe winner. 💗
 
Very good, and I liked Katya's routine but that was some serious hyperbole from Motsi.

Oti has been posting videos of her dances with Danny Mac. Now he was a ringer with some incredible performances.
 
The bottom two is going to be interesting this week.

Still Balvinder vs La Voix? Saying that, Vicky does seem well liked, but that was a weak dance and she finds herself at the bottom of the leaderboard with the also popular George and Karen in the lower half as well.

I can't remember it happening. Second on the leaderboard yes.

This week there is only the one tie on the leaderboard so think it would be difficult for Amber to drop down that far.
 
I know previous weeks don't come into play.

But after Vicky's performance last week, that is an astonishing outcome.

Keeping poor old Balvinder almost feels CRUEL at this point.
 
Proper shocked at that BUT it was a poor dance and a truly appalling version of SOTU. Wild that Vicky's had such a good run, was top of the fucking leaderboard last week, but is now OUT. More and more I thought of her as a finalist and increasingly likely winner.

With it seemingly being a three person final, it'll take something from the others to stop two of those spaces being taken up by Amber and Lewis.

Alex must have quite a strong vote. I thought her dance being nice but unshowy could have seen her bottom two. I'd really like her and George in the final, if the latter can get it together for a comeback arc. I LOVE Alexis.

At this stage I really feel for Bal. Google says that, at this stage, she only has to be saved from one more dance off to match Jamelia as the most saved Strictly celeb.
 
The only circumstance we don't get a Lewis/Amber/Other final is if Lewis and Amber dance off against each other before. I don't think there is another celeb remaining who could beat either of them head-on.

Alex and Karen feel the most likely for the third spot. They are both capable of amazing dances, but are also wildly inconsistent week-to-week so it'll depend on who has a bad week when.

George has plateaued and there seems to be dwindling confidence in his camp. It's telling they shoehorned in his "family tribute" into an unsuitable rumba. I suspect Alexis realised leaving it any longer risked his never being able to perform it. It's a shame the producers wasted their "Couple's Choice" on the silly K-Pop routine weeks ago.

Balvinder is doomed, and La Voix will be disposable once Blackpool is done.
 
Balvinder is obviously earning well from this and at least has got to Blackpool, but her time on the show just seems cruel. She should try Squid Games for a less emotionally damaging time.
 
So NO FALL, just a ROPIER JIVE than on the main show.

I think the judges would have saved Vicky if they could, but Balvinder danced a safe AS slightly better than the main show and Vicky was noticeably worse.
 
Vicky being top of leaderboard last week to going this week is pretty wild but it just shows one off week, and you can go.

I still can't call who's winning this, it feels pretty open with Lewis being the most likely.
