Strictly 2025

I think that megamix was a reminder of how reliant they were on covers. Three of the five songs they performed weren't theirs!

I don't think so - I don't think it was their best medley to be fair, they could have chosen a few other originals and chucked out Devil. Its funny that back in the day you'd always want them to sing live now im slightly horrified when i see them miming :D

He's the main publisher of the dance-off spoilers. I'd assume he either gets paid by web ads or directly by other media orgs.

The BBC have seemingly never worked out who in their production team is leaking the info to him in the first place.
I presume he has another “job” or form of income for the other 9 months of the year? I read his replies and what a strange strange individual.

Apparantly NOT. He really does just rely on doing this to see him through the entire year. Seemingly never occurred to him what he might do should Strictly end / abandon split-day broadcasts / fire his source. Bizarre little man.

There really should not be that much money in posting Strictly Come Dancing spoilers.

It's like THE GAMES twenty years later :(

Last one in a Nuffield hospital gets the trophy

The celebs do seem to be much more injury prone in recent years. I guess that explains why Alex's performance looked a little restrained. Her VT with duck t-shirt husband was very touching though.

Lewis was excellent last night, worthy of the 40, though not as good as the Creep CC. I do want to see a ballroom/Latin from him that is at a similar level before the series end.

Loved the drama of Karen's Paso. Excellent routine and one of the occasions when the extra bodies added to things. I thought George had a very good week. The score was generous but he was hardly the only beneficiary.

Balvinder might have been excited to do the AT, but unfortunately she was landed with unsuitable music/staging and didn't seem a natural at the style either.

LOVED Steps. Maybe not quite as good as the PSB one last year but still a really fun way to kick off the show.

They seem to have gone really heavy on the tan and make up for Danny Mac and Jay McGuiness respectively.

Danny Mac is ageing like a fine wine. With the injuries I wonder is it because they're pushing the envelope too far these days in terms of choreography, or are people feeling more tense during training due to all the unpleasantness in recent years

The all stars dance lived up to expectations. It has been longer for Jay than the others but I thought he was still great. His section was less high energy by design than the others but he has such a natural dancing style.

Danny Mac :disco:

To pad this out with no elimination, they should have held Steps back for another perf, just something with Claire and Faye on the live vocals, H kept backstage in a straight jacket.

I wonder if they'd ever do a Strictly All Stars given they had 4 of them back this week.

I wish Christmas would go back to being former contestants (no offence to Scarlet Moffatt who I RATHER LIKE)

The returners' dance was fucking wonderful :disco:

We can't escape Mel Blatt at the moment! She's only doing this to promote her BURGER BUSINESS though, of course.

Sure Jan GIF

Mel Blatt becoming the most relevant Moopy villainess was not on the 2025 bingo card

Matt is currently recovering from a pretty serious injury, so if he was to compete it might be more likely next year. Hopefully the main series.

Oh I know, I'm still heartbroken about the new series :(

I’m old enough to remember when the Christmas special was for people who couldn’t realistically do a full series or were just too big to commit. These names are all shockingly low rent

I can't imagine seeing half of this year's regular cast leaving with disfigurements, permanent disabilities, and missing limbs has done anything to persuade the celebrity elite :(
