I read somewhere on twitter earlier that it's expected to launch a week later this year, but without that 2 week gap to the first show proper.
 
Imagine if it is both of them and one of them gets Neil :(

The very thought of an all Australian female pop princess season though.

Vanessa, Samantha Jade, Ricki, Melissa Tkautz, Zoe Badwi... okay I night need further research beyond off the top of my head. Dannii wouldn't do it now I don't think, but it's an odd parallel world where she chose X-Factor over it.

Until then I'll take Natalie this year and Delta next year thanks. Though Delta seems more active with Radio 2 piano room / proms in the park type stuff, so I think she's more likely than ol' part time Imbruglia

And in a year when Stefan Dennis has been so consistently rumoured it would be a surprise if he didn't feature.

Someone in the comments notes Delta has a November gig in Australia, so that is presumably her out. Xmas special maybe?
 
My vague remembrance from the Xmas special is that he wasn't quite as good as I thought he might be, though there is a big difference between the Xmas show and the series proper.
 
If it is Natalie then she better have an album lined up and ready (no chance of that now is there)
 
Not sure the BBC have the guts to have a drag queen on Strictly. They’ve never had a trans person either have they?
 
All the names so far have been rumoured. Starting to fear the Thomas Skinner one might be true as well.
