Strictly 2025

If I had a pound for every time a Strictly person dropped out pre-competition and was replaced by an Emmerdale hunk, I’d have two pounds. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it's happened twice
 
I'd feel more comfortable with the description Emmerdale cast member with regard to Kelvin, but yes.
 
What do we think of this?

Obviously it goes without saying that it is disgusting and if the accusations are correct the man should be prosecuted but it seems to be every year now before the season premiere we get another negative story.

He's really desperate to come across as the jovial, hard working family man who loves his wife and kids when he's anything but.
 
Actually is this not ENTIRELY part of his brand?

His whole schtik is harking back to the good days of good old British times when MEN WERE MEN hiding down the pub from the "missus', Sunday roasts, greasy spoon caffs, wartime spirit, immigrants being up in chimneys sweeping instead of hotels, and when MEN could have a bit of harmless cheeky side action and their wives would just get on with it.

I hope the BBC are going to take extra care with whomever is lumped with him as types of that nature do whatever they can get away with.
 
They really teased me with a snatch of MacArthur Park in that :disco: medley.

I've managed to avoid all pairings apart from one.
 
Padding already. I love Strictly very much, but the launch does not need to push two hours.
 
They went heavy on the tan on all the pros in that dance, but Vito was glowing.

Julian dancing in very wet swimming shorts was distracting.

Maybe, but I feel Katya isn’t as popular with the public.

Loving La Voix! Was obvious to pair Chris Robshaw with Nadiya. Who’s the tallest female celebrity? Obviously they’ll be paired with Johannes.
 
Wild they get the judges in to sit behind the desk for two hours for a load of pre-recorded VTs, upstairs interviews, and fuck all dancing :D

I've enjoyed this more than I usually enjoy the launch, despite Jessie J and PADDING AHOY
