Strictly 2025

Did enjoy George’s reaction to dancing to Soda Pop :D

👀

His horrified face! Belatedly realising he's going to be saddled every time the 70-something BBC producers google "What do the YOOF like?" whilst everyone else gets Bond or Mission Impossible themes.

Ross King did not strike me as someone who would particularly benefit from the public vote. But good for him!

Love that they went ACTIVATE THE SCOTTISH VOTE for Ross King (Proclaimers; Scotland in VT; kilt) and it worked

According to The Rest Is Entertainment, Strictly actually attracts more right-wing viewers than left — yet even they didn’t seem to care about Thomas Skinner. So it feels like the smallest, loudest voices are still shaping the narrative…

Nothing new there

Is it just me, or is Aljaž looking the hottest he ever has now?

Nice seeing Cynthia Erivo join the panel! 😊 (Not awarding scores but comments)

I've only began watching from Alex Chris and Nadiya's, he definitely improved, hopefully not in the bottom again (also because the guitar in Sweet Child O' Mine annoys me haha) ☺️

That Tess and La Voix bit made me laugh 🐦

And "thanks for lending me the clothes, Tess" :D (The dancing was lovely 🤗)

Sweet Child O Mine is a testing song but there were some scary vocal moments on that. Chris is surely in trouble going on second with that.

Not giving you seed in your hand Shirley :ken:

Really nice dance from Balvinder and Julian again 🤗✨ I get the footwork thing though️, hopefully easy enough to improve on. 🪄

Did Jimmy's routine genuinely end with STRANGULATION? :D

I suspect Shirley will be in for some stick this weekend with her scores. Too harsh with Balvinder. George was good but absolutely not a 9, and I don't think their trying to give him a "winners edit" so early will help him in the least.

I do also see the heaviness in that Charleston from Vicky and Kai, but it was still fun to watch/listen. 😊 ✨🎶
Also I didn't really think about how they also dance in the morning before the show, as Cynthia mentioned. 💡

Last week I searched about the Barbie doll after Ellie mentioned it, very sweet 🤗 and I like the idea of a chromosome necklace 🧬✨

An awesome dance too! 💗🌟

I think the CC scores seem to exist in isolation from all the other dances. They always seem to get carried away but I agree definitely not a 9.

I enjoyed that dance from Alex and Johannes, the song too (they should get KT Tunstall for one of the shows) and her acting

I didn't really get the praise for Harry. Was he not a bit clompy?

I thought between the two of them it was quite disconnected and for him more of a return to his first dance. Even Karen didn't look that at ease with it to me.

Motsi as new head judge could be good 😊
Oh now I get it, they pointlessly change each week who'll have the casting vote. 😅

Also I think best till last (of the ones I watched in full) again this week️
And same this week for the Paso Doble from Lewis and Katya! I'm glad for her and that 10 though 💗 she hasn't had a particularly good dancer since Joe for her debut, 9 years ago. ☺️

There was a ROGUE Sharleen Spiteri in the audience they occasionally cut too - are we getting a Texas performance in the results show?
