Strictly 2025

A fun Movie Week, albeit not with a dance I'll rush to watch again like the HALLOWED FILM WEEK FEW (the Pirates paso; Jay Fromthewanted's Jive). I loved Soda Pop (SORRY), Barbie, Devil Wears Prada, and obvs Amber and Lewis' dances. I do think it was too early for a 10, and as a staunch traditionalist I really need the first 10 of the series to be an "It's never too early for a 10 from Shirley!". Now it won't even feel early :(

I'm trying not to look at the spoiler this year but am worried for La Voix and Balvinder, although a TV's Ross King / Chris Robshaw bottom two feels most likely.

There was a ROGUE Sharleen Spiteri in the audience they occasionally cut too - are we getting a Texas performance in the results show?
Texas were the sole guest performer on Strictly in 2023, here's the performance.

Sharleen would be great on Strictly though, perhaps the Christmas special?

The producers obviously want Ross gone or they wouldn't have dressed him like that or give him ridiculous non-Paso music.

Balvinder was undermarked George definitely wasn't worthy of a 9.

Jimmy has definitely been the surprise of the series so far.

With that little speech from Shirley the Cynthia gushing has reached borderline unbearable levels.

The editing on that little segment was WEIRD

Balvinder's face said she saw that coming about halfway through the vote results.

Largely self-inflicted, but he's clearly not in a very good place.

Who would guess extra-marital affairs and JD Vance would be a bad idea before a high-profile TV gig? :(

But at least Andrew Tate has sent his sympathies.

Is anyone watching tonight?
That Tess and La Voix bit made me laugh 🐦
Especially this week, saying her outfit has gone from bathmat to bedsheet
Dance itself not too sure. 😅
It was more entertaining and somehow less awkward than the judges' random segments.
Nice couples choices too 🤗

I'm worried for LaVoix after that dance :(

An almost shirtless Chris Robshaw was a cheerful sight however :horny:

Balvinder and Julian always undermarked 🙃 hers was definitely better than 7s 💃🏽 and of course Alex and Johannes dancing the Rumba 🤩

Alex was sensational tonight, but the constant whooping and cheering from the audience really ruined the moment. Same with Balvinders paso doble and the audience clapping along.

Last nights is the first time I’ve watched this season, shame for La Voix but a good indication of her popularity if she survives despite that score

Alex and Amber stole the night for me, with two dances I don't really care for usually.

Gutted for La Voix, but fingers crossed doing that badly RALLIES the TROOPS

Yes I feel like La Roux may pick up some votes, but if in the dance off and doesn't do much better than that, then no choice but to be booted off? Stefan may also be in trouble

I hope she's Bulletproof this week, and won't have to go back to being an International Woman of Leisure

I think she'll be okay, rumours are that Trudie Goodwin has set up THOUSANDS of duplicate BBC voting accounts for this exact scenario

Stefan could be in trouble, but he really wasn't terrible for having had a week off.

Alex hasn't really been discussed as a potential winner, but the way she's going she's looking more and more like a finalist. I'm now thinking Alex, Lewis, George and Vicky.

I felt like Alex could go either way at the start as I didn't know much about her, but it helps she's turned out to be VERY LIKEABLE and sweet

Did La Voix just not have any time to rehearse? That was absolutely terrible.

Singing a song she put out 2 months ago instead of her latest release. Bizarre.

Oh gosh no wonder she's had an IDENTITY CRISIS. Imagine having your high profile TV gig being bumped for Jessie No No No No No J.

I think he was likely to be the next out so no real loss.

I wonder if they'll do a non elimination this week.

If this was Saturday, so presumably it must have been the actual live performance he tore it? In which case what a poker face

Just caught up on this. Poor Balvinder didn't even get a post-first dance off vote bounce. Stefan was overall probably the weakest dancer left, so his withdrawal just makes a rough and short ride even more likely.

Quite enjoyed the second viewing of Julian's Paso outfit though.

We should probably all stop speculating and predicting who will be eliminated in dance-offs next, and instead who will be carted off to a Nuffield hospital on a stretcher next.

I'm predicting George, who has apparantly already been having physio for back problems.
