Strictly 2025

Interesting how the correlation between winners and those averages isn't actually THAT strong.

If anything it's skewed even more by the fact that the judges scores in the finals are often over-inflated when suddenly every contestant gets 10s across the board. Would Karen or George, for instance, have been on that first page before last night?

It affirms that for all the hand-wringing this year, nobody should really have surprised that neither Amber or Lewis had the public support.

Well the Moffat girl was incredible. I gather she's got a dance background, but who the hell cares if it's to that song and frankly I want her back for the main series next year (with Vito). Not seen the results yet, but surely she's won.

A bit over earnest, but Blue actually sound great (and I really don't want to compliment them - Lee and Duncan are just insufferably humble-vain).

Show was live, but I guess don't read if you still haven't watched.

Love the laughter reaction to winning. They're just so likeable without having to be all here's my prepared skit for you this week about it like that other lass from the same place.

I'm surprised they didn't save MOFFAT for the main series. How many from the Christmas special have gone on to do the main show?

Looking at the grief Amber got on social media for her previous experience, Scarlett may think better of it.

Scarlett has said she knows she wouldn't be allowed to do the main show due to her ballroom and Latin training. I think she was fine for the Christmas special but not a full series. It is one thing to have a dance background and another to be trained in the main dance disciplines on the show.

Scarlett was really very good but I hadn’t realised she’d had any training. I thought maybe a couple Zumba classes
