Victory is serving of its era early/mid 10s tropipop production but I don't HATE IT! in fact the change of pace is very welcome.

I really like it, but I'm kinda baffled as to your understanding of the objective parts of music.
 
The track listing is a choice. I’d change quite a lot up here

it's not just bpm darling. Victory is clearly much more upbeat (not uptempo) than the preceding four songs. it's got bounce.

That's just not how a song is defined as midtempo though. You were the one who used the phrase midtempo initially.

Anyway, Today is clearly uptempo AND going for an uplifting vibe to these ears.

Back in the Day is a perfect album closer… about the only track listing choice I approve of

Great Escape and Only You have no place on this album but I do think they’d bring a bit of a different dynamic and break up that mid tempo midsection… but instead we’ll just call it a cohesive album with a clear identify and Stan
