Sugababes™

What a great mini set. They all sound wonderful throughout, but the verse of Too Lost In You is totally in the sweet spot fot Mutya.

Rather candid video from Keisha where she slags off Sweet 7, talks about Heidi & Amelle and confirms plans for a vinyl release of The Lost Tapes

They’ve done this thing for Apple Music including a cover of something called People by Libianca

I had two free months waiting when I opened the app so I took the PLUNGE

People is gorgeous!

They've said they're back in the studio at the moment AND that Polydor dropped them even before Flatline was released :o

Yeah! Was this not widely known?
They were basically self-managing by the time Flatline actually came out, which is probably the reason for the bizarre release day and promo.
I honestly thought no label would ever touch them again after the entire MKS mess, but thankfully HERE WE ARE in 2023 :disco:

I don’t think it was generally known, no! To drop them without releasing anything is HARSH.

I suppose that explains the single cover 🥴

I don't know what you mean.

Does she address the sugababes original line up in the podcast?

Yes, towards the end and it gets a bit awkward. You can tell she doesn't really want to speak about the others. SEB keeps going on about how wonderful it is to see women supporting each other and lifting each other up and Heidi is like, "Best of luck to them" and won't really say more than that.

There's a "you'd hope so" :) to one of Sophie's statements about everyone being more grown up in there which is VERY TELLING.

it's probably not easy for her to see the OG lineup getting all this success performing mostly 2.0 songs.

Their whole set from the Isle of Wight Festival was televised!

Freak Like Me / Red Dress / Hole In The Head / Flatline / Too Lost In You / Overload / Flowers / Push The Button / Round Round / About You Now

I like they include Flatline.

We still know her.

I hope they include a few from the Lost Tapes at their o2 gig. Today and Summer of 99 would be great
